i want a new handycam, can u please gimme a solid opinion
my budget around U$ 400-550
i like using HDD or SSD or SDcard kinda camera, mini dv & DVD are yesterday. i like if my handycam could take a good still image picture too. and shock resistant or water resistant is not important but its a great point. i have 3 selection above can u gimme ur opinion or may be a new model that have it all. i also know nothing at all about camera, can someone tell me which brand is better, or more durable or some brand produce a better result ? thanx for enlightening me

They’re all overpriced! Where did you get those prices from?
And they all suck, too. I’d never buy a Sanyo cuz they have a crappy sensor and poor image quality.
Check ebay for the HDC-SD9, I bought it off ebay for 300$. It’s a 3CCD full hd camcorder with poor indoor quality but very good outdoors image quality! It has a good image stabilizer too.
If your budget is 550 you may wanna spend an extra 45 bucks and get a Canon VIXIA HF200 at amazon. It’s a great camcorder that records 1080/24p (cinema mode). Watch some youtube videos for examples.

I see Panasonic SDR-SW20 just only $229.79 on amazon too. the price that you explore look so high.
